Thursday Boob Blogging

No, this isn't going to be a regular weekly post. I just liked how the title sounded.

I've got boobs on the brain. Usually, that means I'm dreaming about stroking an exquisite male pectorial. But today, everyone else's boobie blogging has me thinking more about the female breast (but not about stroking it, unless I've got an itch). In particluar, Amanda Marcotte from Pandagon and Hugo Schwyzer have a provocative pair of posts that I'm following. Go read 'em.

UPDATE: Pseudo-Adrienne also has a good post regarding the FDA, silicone implants, and why some women choose to get their chests augmented.

Comments:
Thanks for linking me. Now with breast implants, I'm all for a woman's right to do whatever she wants with her body (ie: obtaining a safe and legal abortion). I understand if a woman who never seriously developed ANY breasts during puberty or was involved in some kind of deforming accident, or was a breast cancer survivor, would want to get breast implants. But women who do have perfectly "normal" breasts usually get them for somebody else, such as the boyfriend/husband, a modeling agency, a pornographer, or even to look "hotter" than her female co-workers. I don't understand why someone would risk their health just to looking pleasing to someone else. But hey, it's their bodies and it's their right.

Okay with the fact that I've never been 'blessed.' Besides all you have to do is watch a med-TV documentary on how implants are inserted to be completely turned off by the procedure... ick!
